Designed by New York base Rafael Viñoly Architects, the Museum of Modern Arab Art within the Qatar Foundation’s Education City Campus in Doha, was projected to complete in 2011.

The museum that comprise a 32,981 sq meters (355,000 sq feet) will accommodate several uses. Besides will house Sheikh Hassan Bin Mohammed Al-Thani’s modern Arab art and antiques collection, there is also a library and spaces to study the Arabic Art and to provide an archival-quality controlled display of Art.

Once completed, this museum will become one of the important cultural attraction to Qatar as well as creating a place to explore the cultural heritage and to promote the appreciation of modern Arabic arts.
