Two kinds of development for Muslim nations

Most sociologists of 19th century believed Nonwestern nations should copy western type of development and put aside thier own type of living including their cultures, economy and tradition and even language.
Today the above idea is absurd to most sociologysts. They believe native culture, language and economy is very essential for sustainable development. There is a unique way for the progress of each nation. Japan is a good example. Japan recieved western technology and combined it with native tradition.
